realquantum Version 2.2
[fusion_dropcap boxed=”no” boxed_radius=”” class=”” id=”” color=””]J[/fusion_dropcap]uly 17, 2019 marks the latest release of new features in realquantum. This is perhaps the largest single release since we launched. “Typically, we are adding new features every 3-4 weeks,” said realquantum chief product officer Matt Speer. “For realquantum version 2.2, we took a little extra time and added a lot of related capabilities.”
Here’s a quick overview of the new features in version 2.2:
File Import
Users can add data from a variety of outside sources to their databases. With a pre-formatted file (.xlsx), customers are guided through the process to ensure that high-quality data is loaded. The following types of data that can be imported include:
- Properties
- Sales
- Leases
- Income & Expense Records
Chief technology officer Dan Wieschhaus explains how his team approached the import function. “We know that our customers value their data, so we had to ensure that anything imported into realquantum was high-quality. The app validates data keyed by users in real time. We do the same checks for imported data. At the same time, it had to be easy for people to use. So, we created a template users just download and fill in. Then, when the import function runs, if realquantum finds any errors, they get highlighted in red, with clear explanations. Nobody else works this hard for data integrity and customer experience. It took longer, but follows our dedication to quality. The entire team immediately saw this extra work was worth it. Everyone is really happy about how it turned out.”
New Ways to Customize the Report
The realquantum report is already extremely versatile. An optimized combination of standardization and flexibility. At the same time, it helps you focus on what your clients consider most important. Now, with realquantum version 2.2, there are a variety of new capabilities. Many come direct from our customers. We listen!
- Print options for each section now even easier to find. Users can show or hide details based on type of appraisal.
- When showing multiple land valuations, sales comparison valuations or market rent analyses, they print in alphabetical order. Because, well, that just makes sense.
- If reserves are not used in the Pro Forma, Net Operating Income After Reserves does not print on the report.
- Users can customize report colors in two ways. First, by selecting combinations that realquantum recommends. Or, users can specify exactly the colors they want.

- The help link is now on the main menu. So, our world-class documentation and tutorials are even easier to access.
- New Value Types added: Fair Market Value and Fair Value
- Link Unit of Comparison. Link land or sales valuation and market rent analysis to an entire property, particular site or particular improvement. (Or just input manually.)
All these new capabilities in realquantum release 2.2 are designed to further help commercial appraisers succeed. They increase efficiency, improve accuracy and scale their appraisal offices.
